Inside The Park: Becoming Takes Time | Issue 004

Hi there, and welcome back.

Thank you for all the amazing feedback I’ve been receiving, it truly means the world. The Park is my way to connect with you on a more intimate level and share the raw, real, and uncut version of what it’s really like behind the scenes of building The Future of American Luxury.

This past week slowed me down. And honestly? I needed it.

I thought I was stuck. But really, I was being reminded of something deeper — that sometimes you're not being delayed, you're being prepared. Not overlooked, just becoming something stronger, clearer, more grounded.

That’s what Brklyn Park is rooted in.

This brand was never just about clothes. It’s always been about creating something that lasts. Something intentional. Timeless. Built with purpose.

I started Brklyn Park during a time when everything around me felt uncertain:
How was I going to get to work without money for gas?
What bill next month would have to go past due just so I could pay the others?
Would I eat a real meal today — or Ramen noodles again?

I had so much going wrong in my life, but I knew who I was on the path of becoming.
And I wanted that more than anything.

This past week reminded me again that becoming just takes time.

Becoming who I want to be in life.
Becoming a better partner.
Becoming a more healed version of myself.
Becoming the designer and leader I aspire to be.

So if you’ve been feeling stuck or like things aren’t moving fast enough, maybe it’s not a setback.
Maybe it’s your foundation being strengthened.

Wherever you are right now — in the grind, in the doubt, in the dreaming, or just trying to make it to tomorrow — just know you're not alone.
Becoming takes time, but it’s happening.

Quietly. Steadily. Powerfully.

Thanks for being here. Brklyn Park has always been personal for me, and sharing this side of the journey makes it even more real.

See you soon,
Taylor
